Kenny is the likable and funny middle child of Eileen and Pat, and has always felt like the black sheep of the family. According to ABC, "... his initial decision to come out of the closet as gay is what spurs the chain reaction of secrets from the rest of his family to spill out as well." He's the first kid out as his school, and the students and faculty make him into a (somewhat unwilling) spokesperson for the entire LGBTQ community. Actor Noah Galvin has appeared in a number of off-Broadway shows, and was the recipient of Audiofile Magazine's Earphones Award for his narration of Hollis Seamon's novel, Somebody Up There Hates You.
