Tonight is the Season 13 finale of X Factor UK, and Matt Terry was crowned the winner.
Over the past few weeks, Saara Aalto has given Matt Terry a run for his money. The Finnish singer was in the bottom two the first week of the live performances, but has since worked her way up to become a fan favorite on The X Factor. As of Sunday morning, Mirror UK reported that the odds were in Matt’s favor, and Matt was ultimately named the Season 13 winner.
Last night, we said goodbye to 5 After Midnight, who officially took third in the competition. Louis Tomlinson also performed his new single, “Just Hold On”, during Saturday night’s show– his mother, Johannah Deakin, passed away on Wednesday at age 43 after a battle with leukemia.
After his performance, Tomlinson took to Twitter, writing, “That was harder than I ever imagined. I want to thank everyone around me and all of the amazing fans out there that made that so special!”
What was released immediately after Terry was named the season’s winner? His single! Terry’s debut single, “When Christmas Comes Around”, will be able to be downloaded here soon.
