Lamar Odom has battled with drug abuse and addiction over the years and nearly died of an overdose. His struggles weighed heavily on his marriage to Khloe Kardashian and infidelity played a major role in the couple’s demise as well. Even so, Kardashian has been by his side through much of Odom’s battles. Eventually, Kardashian chose to move on from the situation and currently, she is dating Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson.
Today on The Doctors, Lamar Odom admits that his goal is he wants his wife back. He said that she’s important to him and has always stood by her side. He hopes to repay her.

Odom says that he needs to earn the trust of his loved ones again and hopes to be happy, content in his life. A source told Hollywood Life that Odom hopes Kardashian’s boyfriend will step aside. The source stated:
Lam needs TT to know how madly in love he still is with Khloe and wants Tristan to understand that he and Khloe have unfinished business. Lam doesn’t want to disrespect what they have, but he thinks Tristan is just like James Harden and French Montana — a place holder in her life for when he returns.
When it comes to the subject of Odom and Kardashian ever getting back together, an insider assured Hollywood Life:
There was a time when Khloe would have died with delight hearing Lamar profess his love for her like that. Sadly, he never got his act together and now that time has passed.
