After some dramatic revelations in the second episode of Riverdale on The CW, we can expect even more during “Body Double.” The new episode of the series, based on characters from the Archie Comics, airs on The CW at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday, February 9. Read on for a preview.

During “A Touch of Evil,” we learned that Jason Blossom, the student whose murder hovers over the entire show, died much later than everyone thought. His sister, Cheryl, was brought in by police for questioning and taken out in handcuffs in front of her classmates.

Archie continued to be conflicted about revealing to police that he was with Miss Grundy on the day Jason was thought to be killed. This had created tension between him and Jughead. Archie finally agreed that he will tell the police, ending his relationship with the much-older music teacher. Betty is also trying to figure out why her mother really never liked the Blossoms.

In “Body Double,” the new information about Jason’s death surfaces and Betty decides to revive the school newspaper with Jughead’s help. She’s really not happy with her mother’s coverage of the murder in Riverdale’s newspaper. Meanwhile, Veronica is out for revenge after she is humiliated by a football player.
