Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are the biggest power couple in country music, maybe in all of music. The two wrote the book on marriage in the spotlight and have made it last for 20 years.
Their children have all grown, and they are a bit wiser, but the two are going back out on tour together for their third rendition of the Soul 2 Soul Tour.
Tim McGraw has also recently been nominated for five 2017 American Country Music Awards. We wanted to take a deeper dive into the couple’s relationship and careers with 5 fast facts about Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
1. The Couple Have Three Children

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have three daughters, Audrey, 15, Maggie, 18, and Gracie, 19. They have been married for almost 20 years and are going back on tour this year.
The two are pros at this point and are still climbing the charts 20+ years into both of their careers. They’ve even decided to celebrate their anniversary “on the couch in their sweats.”
2. Faith Hill was Named the Number One Adult Contemporary Artist of the 2000’s
Faith Hill is one of the megastars of the country world. Hill, together with Tim McGraw can do no wrong. Hill, by herself, has sold more that 40 million albums worldwide.
Her first record Take Me as I Am came out in 1993 but it wasn’t until her 1998 album Faith and her 1999 album Breathe when she gained crossover success. The songs “Breathe” and “The Way You Love Me” garnered Hill three Grammy Awards.
Hill has also won 15 Academy of Country Music Awards, six American Music Awards and was on of the “30 Most Powerful Women in America” in 2001.
3. Tim McGraw has had Some High-Profile Acting Gigs

McGraw is not only a great singer and performer, but he has shown off his acting skills in some pretty big movies. His first role was in The Jeff Foxworthy Show in 1997.
He had lead roles in the movies Flicka and Country Strong and supporting roles in the critically acclaimed The Blind Side, opposite Billy Bob Thornton in Friday Night Lights, and the comedy Four Christmases.
4. Their Soul II Soul Tours Have Gone on to be Some of the Biggest Tours of All Time
The two absolutely know how to put on a show with three renditions of the Soul II Soul Tour, one in 2000, one in 2006, and a new tour coming in 2017. The first Soul 2 Soul grossed $50 million with almost 950,000 people attending. The 2000 tour was the fifth biggest tour in America that year, and beat all other country music tours.
The Soul II Soul 2 Tour was in 2006 and once again made millions, $89 million to be exact. That tour saw 1.1 million fans at their shows and was the third-highest grossing tour in North America, and the highest grossing tour of all time.
The couple is gearing up for another highly anticipated version of the Soul 2 Soul World Tour in 2017 beginning in the spring.
5. They Have Recorded an Album’s Worth of Duets Together Through the Years
Hill and McGraw have also capitalized on their marriage by appearing on each others records and recording songs multiple times including the hits “Meanwhile Back at Mama’s,” “Like We Never Loved At All,” and “Angry All the Time.”
