Jordan Peele of the hit comedy duo Key & Peele releases his debut feature as a director, Get Out, today. Though seeing as it’s never really made clear in their Comedy Central show who is who? I left a screening of the movie curious wondering, “Which one is Peele?” It’s the guy in the photo above.

Or to be more specific it’s NOT the guy who was President Obama’s anger translator:

It’s the guy who is in a pretty cute marriage with fellow comedian Chelsea Peretti:

The couple first got together in 2013 and got engaged in November 2015. Then, in a sneaky Instagram post in April 2016, Peretti said that the couple had eloped. Get Out wasn’t Peele’s only major release of 2017 either, earlier in February the pair announced that Peretti was pregnant with the couple’s first child.

Obviously known more for his comedy, Peele told NPR that Get Out is “the only woke horror movie of all time, save for Night of the Living Dead (1968)… I feel like race has not been dealt with in my favorite genre which is horror. So I kinda wanted to fill the gap in that piece of the genre of conversation.” The movie has already received rave reviews with the New York Times’ Manohla Dargis calling it “an exhilaratingly smart and scary freakout about a black man in a white nightmare.” When specifically discussing Peele’s directorial style, Dargis says:

Mr. Peele is after more than giggles and shocks; he’s taking on 21st-century white racism and its rationales. The opener — a black man talking on a cellphone on an empty suburban street — briskly sets the tone, unsettles the mood and announces Mr. Peele’s way with metaphor.

In an interview with Forbes, Peele discussed the similarities between making comedy and horror saying, “So much of it is pacing, so much of it reveals.” When asked about the racism references in the movie, Peele called the story “very personal” but caveated “it quickly veers off from anything autobiographical.”

Get Out opens nationwide on February 24.
