Scheana Marie Shay and her estranged husband Mike Shay reveal this season on Vanderpump Rules that their marriage is over. The couple has only been married about two years and they tied the knot on the show. The couple battled through Mike Shay’s struggles with drinking and pills, but they were not able to overcome other obstacles. When the couple split, Mike Shay’s sobriety was questioned, so he took to Instagram to give his response to the rumors, saying:
I am not missing. I am sober. I am Happy!!! Don’t believe everything you read. I love my wife and will always love my wife. Whatever is going on between us will stay between us! I love my family and my family loves me and a lot of things have been said out is protection and anger by many people. I just ready for the next chapter in my life!
The couple’s divorce was filed on November 9, 2016 and they released a joint statement when the news broke. Their statement read:
While we have made the difficult decision to move forward separately, our story will continue on through the love and mutual respect that we have cultivated throughout our 15-year friendship. Much of the recent speculation and reporting on our relationship has been misguided, and we have come to an amicable decision on all matters. We might have failed at our marriage, but we are committed to succeeding as friends and will continue to support each other’s personal happiness and professional success.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Valletta is in the entertainment industry and his sister is model and actress Amber Valletta. Valletta and Scheana Shay reportedly began dating in February 2017.
Recently, Shay and Valletta attended the premiere of the new Power Rangers movie with Vanderpump Rules co-stars Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval and they all posed together on the red carpet.
Several of Shay’s VP co-stars have dished to In Touch Weekly about what they think of their friend’s new man Valletta. Reality star Kristen Doute said she’s actually known Valletta for a while, explaining:
I’ve known him for a few years. I love him, I think he’s a really great guy. She’s happy.
Shay’s BFF Ariana Madix’s brother Jeremy also dished on Shay’s new relationship, saying:
She’s good and I’m happy for her. If he can do that for her, then he’s alright in my eyes. He seems nice. I guess the most important thing is after she and Mike had their little thing, she was extremely upset for a while. I felt really bad for her. She’s like a sister to me, so it’s just good to see her happy again and smiling again and living life instead of being at home sad and depressed.
