Tonight, Scarlett Johansson will be hosting SNL with musical guest Lorde.
This marks Johansson’s fifth time hosting, and she’s been part of some pretty funny sketches in the past. Her first hosting gig on Saturday Night Live came in 2006, followed by one in 2007, one in 2010, and one in 2015. Johansson is promoting her new movie Ghost in the Shell, which will be released in theaters March 31.
Lorde is making her second SNL appearance tonight. The singer previously performed as Disclosure’s guest in November 2015. Lorde’s second album, ‘Melodrama’ will be released on June 16. On Tuesday, she dropped a new track from the album, called Liability. Last week, she released another song by surprise, called Green Light. Will she sing these two new songs during tonight’s show? We’ll have to wait to find out.
In a recent interview with Zane Lowe, Lorde said Liability was “almost like it’s kind of drunk, or it sort of leans around, it’s got this hip-hop cadence to it.” Check out her the music video for her other song, Green Light, below:
