The Leftovers took its typical opener and replaced the song with the theme song for Perfect Strangers. This was because one of the characters in tonight’s episode portrayed himself, Mark Linn-Baker. Mark Linn-Baker was a main character on Perfect Strangers. In The Leftovers, he was the only person from his cast who was left behind.
