Peter Kraus’ Solo Date With Rachel Lindsay On ‘The Bachelorette’

Kraus is 30 years old and hails from Wisconsin, just like the previous Bachelor star Nick Viall. Viall actually just finished a season on Dancing With the Stars and his fiancee Vanessa Grimaldi was there to support him. Throughout the season, Viall was paired up with pro Peta Murgatroyd, who recently had a baby with fiance and fellow pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Chmerkovskiy suffered an injury this season and was out of commission for most of his time on the show. Meanwhile, he chummed up with Nick Viall. When Kraus stepped out of his limo for his arrival on the premiere episode of The Bachelorette this season, he joked that he knows Lindsay hasn't had much luck with guys from Wisconsin. In the past, Kraus has also lived in areas like Chicago and Los Angeles, as he traveled for modeling. Some may have seen him in an ad campaign for J.TOOR, which is a Chicago-based menswear line. Kraus attended and graduated from Madison Area Technical College in 2010 with an Associate of Science in Dietetics/Dietician. He is also a volunteer for the Make A Wish Foundation. When Kraus was first getting into modeling, he actually struggled with an eating disorder. Reality TV World writes that: At age 19, Peter developed an eating disorder while pursuing his modeling career, and his heath and fitness began to rapidly decline. He hit rock bottom in 2007, but he decided to change his life for the better upon going to college. Fortunately, Kraus found his path in life was to be in personal training and his company's tag line is actually "Because you're WORTH it." In addition to having his own company, his Linked In account states that he has been a personal trainer at I.D. Gym and a Fitness Manager at Fitness Management Group. (ABC/Scott Baxter)
