Tonight’s CMT Music Awards were opened by Charles Kelley, Darius Rucker and Jason Aldean, with a tribute to Greg Allman. The trio sang the classic hit “Midnight Rider” on behalf of Allman, who passed away less than two weeks ago. The three singers were also joined by Derek Trucks on the guitar and a back up band.
