Matt Baier and Amber Portwood have reportedly broken up again, but the couple is also said to he heading into filming for a season of Marriage Bootcamp Reality Stars soon. Teen Mom OG viewers have watched the couple deal with issues over the course of this past season and the topic of marriage has rocked their relationship. Portwood has said that she has trouble trusting her fiance, after finding out he had several children she didn’t know about, after cheating allegations and more. Recently, Baier was shown trash-talking Portwood to production after she said she didn’t want to get married in Las Vegas without her daughter there.
On tonight’s episode of the show, more issues hit the couple. But, most recently, a woman named Tiffany Basset claimed that she had a sling with Baier while he has been dating Portwood. In Touch Weekly reports that in an interview with All About the Tea, Basset said she connected with Baier in November 2016. Basset, who is a tattoo artist, explained:
Matt contacted me about investing in a new shop, and was interested in telling my story in the process. I was excited to possibly land a celebrity client, as well as a new business venture.
Basset claimed that she met up with Baier, along with Portwood and Portwood’s brother, in Las Vegas and she ended up “hooking up” with Baier twice. She stated that:
Matt began sending me provocative text messages, including a dick pic. I went along with it, hoping that it would eventually pay off for my business. My motive was always business and providing for my three children … Two o’clock in the morning, Matt comes into my room, supposedly to pick up some souvenirs left on the table. He just wakes me up and decides that we’re going to have sex. No warning — no nothing. I’m like shaking, I froze — I didn’t do anything to stop it.
Basset reportedly told producer Kiki Malone she was “taken advantage of” by Matt.
The couple has been through many ups and downs and Portwood has voiced on the show that all the problems have taken their toll on her. For example, after Baier told Portwood he didn’t really watch the show, it was discovered that he had complimented co-star Farrah Abraham on Twitter before “meeting Portwood” on Twitter. Portwood talked about her response to this news, saying:
I asked him about it, and he’s like, ‘Listen, that was a long time ago. I was just telling them they’re beautiful — I wasn’t hitting on them,’ I’m like, ‘You told me when we first met that you didn’t know anything about Teen Mom OG. And you didn’t know really anything about me, or Farrah, or Maci, but you knew about Teen Mom 2. So what the fuck is the truth?
Hopefully things get better for Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood soon, as her fans are rooting for her.
