Last week on Pretty Little Liars, Caleb and Ezra tracked down the Liars’ “end game” and found that it was inside Mona’s apartment. Viewers have previously seen that Mona had a ton of evidence against the Liars and information in her apartment as well, so what’s the deal? Mona even outed Aria to the other girls. So, is Mona the ultimate villain A.D., is she working with A.D., or is she just “being Mona”?
In the past, Mona has been a villain and she’s also been an ally. There have been moments when A.D. has rewarded some of the Liars for completing their tasks in the game, so could Mona be behind it?
In an exclusive interview with Just Jared Jr., actress Janel Parrish, who plays Mona, said that she can absolutely see Mona being A.D. But, is she just trying to throw us off track? Parrish revealed that Mona ALWAYS has an angle. She also implied that anyone is fair game when it comes to being A.D., as Parrish said it could be Jenna, it could’ve been Noel, it could be Paige, it could even by Mona. Though this may me true, we think that Mona is not Uber A, aka A.D. We think she’s immersed herself in the hunt to track down A.D., but that she isn’t as evil as A.D.

Showrunner Marlene King previously told Cosmopolitan that:
I really believed the original A had to be Mona — but we had to do that in a way that still surprises the fans of the books. I knew who our show’s A would be at the end — who we haven’t revealed yet — but I didn’t know we’d have Little A in between that.
King also said that Uber A is someone who “we haven’t revealed yet,” so it’s safe to say that Mona is NOT A.D.

Tonight’s episode is titled “Farewell My Lovely” and we find out that Mona killed Charlotte. The official Freeform synopsis of the episode reads:
Convinced they know who A.D. is, the Liars gear up for a confrontation. Spencer, Hanna, and Caleb team up to investigate and discover new information about Charlotte’s death. Meanwhile, Mary Drake returns with a gift for Spencer and Alison.
Next week is the two-hour series finale and the title of the episode is “Till Death Do Us Part”. On the finale episode, ABC says that, “All is revealed as the ultimate endgame comes to light.”
