‘Degrassi: Next Class’, Netflix: When Is It Available?

The newest season of Degrassi: Next Class is finally here, and will become available on Netflix for streaming at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT.

According to the Degrassi: Next Class Twitter account, Craig Manning (Jake Epstein) will be returning to show. IMDb lists him as making his entrance in the sixth episode of the season, titled “#FactsOnly”.

Yael, played by Jamie Block, will also come forward to Lola, and state that they don’t identify as either male or female. In a clip obtained by EW, Yael says, “I don’t feel like a girl, or what everyone thinks is a girl… I don’t like makeup or stuff like you do. I really, really hate my boobs… But I’m definitely not a boy either.”

TVLine also reports that the show will focus on Degrassi Community School’s muslim population, and Hunter point-blank asks someone if they’re “pro-terrorist.”

In a video released by Epstein and Adamo Ruggiero released for fans, Epstein revealed how he thinks Craig’s doing. “I think he’s doing great. I would think that he went back to school, online correspondence courses. He studied psychology.”

As for the character’s romantic life, Epstein isn’t totally sure if Craig will get back together with Stacey. At least Marco and Dylan’s relationship is going strong. How strong? Well, very. Ruggiero tells cameras, “I think they should [get married]. I don’t know if they have yet. I don’t think they need marriage to define their relationship. I think they know they love each other.”
