Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna have reached a custody agreement. The former couple has agreed to share custody of their daughter Dream. Despite Chyna’s court appearance Monday morning in which she was granted a restraining order against Kardashian, she didn’t fight to take Dream away from Kardashian, which was a concern of many fans.
According to TMZ, Kardashian and Chyna agreed to share 50/50 custody of their 8 month old.
“We’re told the arrangement has been ‘loose by consent’ and recently Rob has had the kid 4 days a week and Blac Chyna picks up the remaining 3. The staff of [nannies]/baby nurses are always present. Our sources say they have had no problem on co-parenting, which includes child-rearing decisions,” TMZ reported.
The report also indicates that neither Kardashian nor Chyna have plans to go back to court to change their arrangements.
“I would never try to take Dream from her dad,” Chyna told ABC’s Linsey Davis during an interview on Nightline set to air on Monday night. When asked how she and Kardashian would work this out without animosity, Chyna said they will do their best.
“Hopefully, you know, me and Rob can learn, you know, to have common grounds and be the best co-parents as we can be. And that’s all I, I can really ask for,” Chyna said.
During Kardashian’s social media rant, he accused his ex of abusing drugs and alcohol. Since then, Chyna has made claims that Kardashian has been violent with her. Kardashian has added to that, claiming that he has video surveillance footage of Chyna strangling him with an iPhone cord. All of these claims could cause child services to look into the safety of Dream. So far, however, an investigation has not been launched.
While Chyna was in court on Monday, Kardashian was hanging out with his daughter, according to TMZ. After Kardashian’s rant, he posted a couple of photos of Dream on Snapchat. A couple of days later, Kardashian handed Dream off to Chyna, and she posted a few photos of videos of her little girl on Snapchat.
