Last night was the first episode of the live shows for season 12 of America’s Got Talent, with 12 acts performing out of the 36 left in the competition. The contestants who performed were:

Angelica Hale
Artyon and Paige
Bello Nock
Billy and Emily Englund
Christian Guardino
Darci Lynne
In the Stairwell
Just Jerk
Preacher Lawson
Puddles Pity Party
The Singing Trump
Yoli Mayor

Tonight, only 7 acts will make it through and we will be updating this post live with the results. Based on viewers’ votes, five acts will automatically go through tonight. Then, one more act will be voted through via real-time voting this evening, followed by a judges’ pick.

Christian Guardino, Just Jerk, and Yoli Mayor are the acts in jeopardy tonight and are eligible for the Dunkin Save. Be sure to vote in Real-Time to save your favorite of the bottom three.

In the Stairwell’s military dance crew and the adorable dance duo Artyon and Paige were up against each other to move further in the competition, but In the Stairwell got the position. Immediately, Artyon and Paige left the stage as In the Stairwell celebrated their win. Next on the chopping block were The Singing Trump, Puddles’ Pity Party and comedian Preacher Lawson, but the only act making it through was Preacher Lawson.

For a break in results, last season’s winner, Grace Vanderwaal, appeared to give a performance with some of her new music.

Next on the chopping block were ventriloquist Darci Lynne and young singer Angelica Hale, but both of them were put through to the next round. And next, the rollerskating duo Billy and Emily Englund were announced as moving forward in the competition as well. This meant that Bello Nock was going home.

And now it was time to find out which of the acts in jeopardy would make it through tonight. Personally, we were rooting for singer Christian Guardino … and fortunately, he was the winner of tonight’s Dunkin’ Save.

Finally, was the judges’ pick. Would Yoli Mayor or Just Jerk be moving on in the competition?

Heidi Klum’s vote was for Mayor, while Mel B’s choice was dance group Just Jerk. Simon Cowell’s pick was Yoli Mayor, which left Howie Mandel in the hot seat for the final choice. With Mandel choosing Just Jerk, host Tyra Banks had to refer to America’s votes. As a result, Yoli Mayor was revealed as the act going through in the competition.
