On 90 Day Fiance, Anfisa Arkhipchenko and husband Jorge Nava have had many ups and downs. Currently on the show, the two have separated, but it looks like they are still together. On Arkhipchenko’s Instagram page, she has changed her last name to Nava and has posted recent photos with Nava. She also posted a photo of red roses in tribute to their one-year anniversary on August 2, 2017.
Throughout their time on the show, Arkhipchenko has pushed Nava to buy her luxury items, handbags, and cosmetic treatments. But, Nava actually put himself in debt trying to give her these things. With Nava’s financial promises unable to be kept, Arkhipchenko grew angry and would lash out. She also said that if Nava couldn’t keep her in the lifestyle she desired, she wouldn’t want to be with him. Another issue that the couple had was that Nava’s family felt Arkhipchenko was only using Nava. Many at-home viewers have voiced similar opinions. Just a few weeks ago, Arkhipchenko implied that Nava was guilty of domestic abuse, as he was in control of her finances. Arkhipchenko wrote this message on Instagram:
Did you guys know that neglecting your spouse and having total control of money(financial abuse) in a relationship is considered domestic violence? Why aren’t people talking about this? Do Americans have more rights than foreigners when it comes to DV? That’s a serious matter that is being completely ignored. Maybe I need to bring more awareness to this.
This message was written when an episode aired, showing Arkhipchenko lashing out and hitting Nava.
