On America’s Got Talent tonight, escape artist Demian Aditya’s trick suffers a malfunction. Something went wrong on live TV and he ended up being buzzed by two of the judges. Host Tyra Banks came out on stage to announce that the anti-climactic trick was a result of a technical difficulty and not Aditya’s fault. Watch the performance mishap in the below video.

Simon Cowell’s reaction to Aditya’s act was comparing it to “Mel B’s wedding night. A lot of anticipation and nothing happens.” In response, Mel B jumped out of her seat and threw her drink on Cowell, who was left soaked. Mel B then stormed off the set. She later returned.
This was not the first technical difficulty of the night as it is a live show. The dance act Light Balance were unable to perform their routine, which was not in their control either.
