1. Host Chris Harrison Says He Doesn’t Know If Lindsay and Her Man Will Last
Like any relationship, there are no guarantees and Bachelorette host Chris Harrison told Glamour that he doesn’t know if Rachel Lindsay will walk down the aisle with her fiance. Harrison explained:
Life’s not so simple, I don’t know. It’s so easy to sit on the sidelines and be that Monday morning quarterback and go, ‘No! They’ll never make it!’ It’s hard to make it. I’m the product of a divorce and my marriage failed, so I’m the first guy who’s not going to be throwing rocks. I thought Ben and Lauren would make it, and they didn’t. I’m sad. I hope Rachel does. That’s all I can say. I’m happy for them now, God bless ‘em, and I will do everything in my power to help them.
When talking about “Ben and Lauren”, Harrison is referring to former Bachelor Ben Higgins and winner Lauren Bushnell, who split in recent months.
2. There Are Rumors that Lindsay’s Friends Wish She Had Chosen the Runner-Up
In an interview with Life & Style, “an insider” said that Lindsay didn’t put enough thought into her decision on the winner and that she was really torn on who to pick. The insider revealed:
Rachel’s friends are worried that she’s just blinded by the ring and not really paying attention to the actual person she chose. The runner-up has all the qualities Rachel was looking for, and everybody thinks they would have been much better together.
In addition, the source said that:
She told the runner-up not to contact her because she said it wouldn’t be fair. While her decision was excruciatingly difficult to come to, it was final. And Rachel wants to think she made the right one. The winner started off for the wrong reasons. He went on the show hoping to become the next Bachelor.
This wouldn’t be the first time that a contestant on The Bachelorette was accused of joining the show for fame or in hopes of becoming the star of The Bachelor.
3. Bachelorette Guru Reality Steve Reported that Dr. Bryan Abasolo Is the Winner
Reality Steve has reported that Dr. Bryan Abasolo, the winner of the first impression rose this season, is engaged to Rachel Lindsay. Reality Steve revealed:
When you look back at it now knowing Bryan is the winner, it’s very obvious she’s into him.
So, we will have to see if the reports are true on tonight’s finale episode.
4. Peter Kraus Was First Reported to Be the Winner This Season
When season 13 of The Bachelorette started, Bachelorette guru Reality Steve was convinced that Peter Kraus was the winner this season. But, after a few weeks into the show, Reality Steve made a big announcement, stating that:
I’m sure all the Rachel/Peter fans are about to go into cardiac arrest, but I’m here to tell you … the spoiler I posted on May 17th was wrong. Rachel is engaged to Bryan Abasolo … I know you want answers. Unfortunately, without compromising sources, I can’t give you specifics because that’d be giving away the who/how/what … The bottom line is my source was initially wrong when they told me it was Peter, they corrected themselves, and are sure she’s with Bryan now.
Both Peter Kraus and Bryan Abasolo had “rough” times with Rachel Lindsay in the last couple episodes of the show, but the reports are that Peter Kraus is not the winner this season.
5. Former Bachelor Contestant Astrid Loch Accidentally Spoiled the Winner
Recently, former Bachelor contestant Astrid Loch, who is a friend of Rachel Lindsay’s, accidentally spilled the beans on where the winner is from, as she revealed in the above video clip:
They are going to Dallas to have a party there. He gets to meet all of her friends and non-Bachelor people too. And then they’re going to Miami after that to have an engagement party too.
For those who have been watching the show this season, then they would know that Bryan Abasalo is from Miami, Florida. To watch the part where Loch gives away the news, skip to the 28-minute mark.
