Tonight are the 2017 Teen Choice Awards, which honor the year’s biggest achievements in music, film sports, TV, fashion, social media, and more. This year’s TCA’s will be hosted by Jake Paul, who will also host Team Fest– a three hour musical festival that will precede the show.

Teen Fest will take place in downtown LA, and is a 3 hour celebration of music and pop culture. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Echosmith, Bea Miller, Hey Violet, new Hope Club, PRETTYMUCH, Sleeping with Sirens and STEP are all expected to perform during Teen Fest, which will stream exclusively on YouTube. Some portions of the festival will also appear during the Teen Choice Awards broadcast on Fox.

Rob Wade, president of the alternative entertainment and specials for Fox, tells THR, “Teen Choice 2017 is the premier awards show for teens and about teens, and our partnership with YouTube expands this special event into the audience’s digital lives as never before. Teen Fest 2017 will get fans around the world excited for the show and elevate the experience for viewers across every platform.”

So who exactly is Jake Paul, who’s hosting Teen Fest? Paul, 20, rose to fame in 2013 on Vine. By the time Vine was shut down, he had 3.5 million followers. In 2015, the social media star was cast in Bizaardvark on Disney Channel.

Earlier this year, Paul attended an event at the White House centered on social media. Not long after, news was announced that Paul launched TeamDom with $1 million in financing to create a talent management and creative agency.

Speaking to Tech Crunch recently, Paul said, “It started as Team Ten a year and a half ago while vine was still big,… I had this theory where I could replicate what Dr. Dre did in the music industry in the social media business. And I set out to put it to the test… found these kids online… they had 30,000 followers, then I flew them out to LA and taught them how to do things on social media.. In 2 weeks grew from 30,000 to 400,000 and today they have 16 million.”
