A man named Kevin Brophy claims that his back is featured on the cover of rapper Cardi B’s mixtape, but according to court documents obtained by TMZ, Brophy claims that he was never contacted by Cardi B’s people, nor did he receive compensation for the shot.

The photo is featured on the cover of Cardi B’s mixtape, Gangsta B**ch Music Vol 1, which was released back on March 7, 2016. The picture features a guy with his tattoo-covered back exposed with his head in the lap of the rapper as she drinks a beer.

Here is what you need to know:

1. Brophy Has Filed a Lawsuit Seeking Millions from Cardi B

Brophy filed paperwork in court this week. In court documents, Brophy explained that the image was brought to his attention by a friend who reached out to him about landing such an awesome gig. The friend said something to him about how “crazy” it was that he was “cunnilinging [sic] this rapper called Cardi B,” according to TMZ.

Brophy apparently had no idea what his friend was talking about, so he looked up the cover art. In the court documents, Brophy claims that his body was used in the photo 100 percent and he can prove it because of his back tattoo, which he says he has had for 10 years now.

The elaborate tattoo is a very detailed scene of a tiger attacking a snake.

“He claims he never posed for the photo, and never signed off on his image being used in such a sexual manner,” TMZ reports.

According to the report, Brophy is seeking “at least $5 million” from Cardi B.

2. Brophy Is a Tattoo Model from New York

Not much is known about Brophy, who doesn’t appear to have any public social media accounts. He also hasn’t released a statement of any kind since filing this lawsuit against Cardi B.

According to the Daily Mail, Brophy works as a tattoo model. It is unclear if he has been featured in any publications, but he does not appear to be very well known. A Google search with his name will yield you very few results, none of which showcase this man’s face — or his tattoos.

“Brophy’s pre-K son asked what daddy was doing in the picture, and who’s that girl?” TMZ reports.

Walczak is a well-known social media personality. Cardi B introduced him as a male model that she has worked with in the past, posting the above photo on Instagram back in March of 2016.

After learning about the lawsuit, Walczak took to social media to claim that he is the guy on the mixtape cover and that he is not suing Cardi B.

“Whoever this f***** bum a** ‘Kevin Brophy’ is needs to find another way to finesse food for his kids. 5. Cardi B Is ‘Shrugging Off’ the Lawsuit & Her Fans Are Defending Her

Who is Kevin Brophy

‌Cardi B doesn’t seem too concerned about this lawsuit. On Thursday night, it was business as usual for the rapper, who took the stage at Power 105.1’s Powerhouse 2017 show at the Barclays Center in New York. According to the Daily Mail, Cardi B “shrugged off” Brophy’s claims.

Her fans have been lighting up social media over the past 12 hours or so, coming to her defense when it comes to Brophy’s claims. Several fans seem to share the same opinions on the matter: The mixtape was released well over a year ago, but Brophy didn’t say anything until now. Cardi B is one of the hottest female rappers in the industry, so many have said that Brophy is striking while the iron is hot.

“Did he pose for this picture? And now want $5 million because Cardi B is indeed #MakingMoneyMoves?! Talking bout his son asked about the picture. Why do people use their children, to try and get a case?!” wrote one Instagram user.
