Tonight is the season 13 premiere of The Knockouts on The Voice, which takes place after the Battle Rounds, where contestants were pinned against each other vocally. The first of The Knockouts will air tonight and tomorrow night’s show will be a “Best of the Season” highlights program. Next week will then feature part 2 and 3 of The Knockouts. In The Knockout Rounds, the artists are again paired against a teammate, but this time they perform individually and select their own music to perform as their competitor watches. The designated coach then decides the winner of each mini-competition. Each coach also has the opportunity for one more steal during the Knockouts. This means that if a singer is eliminated, another team’s coach can try to steal them. Then, after the Knockout Rounds, there are the Playoffs. At this point, a key adviser, who is usually a big superstar, comes aboard to help each of the artists prepare for their performances.

During the Playoff Rounds, the “Coach Comeback” format twist allows each coach to bring back an artist who was previously eliminated during the Knockouts. These comeback artists will complete the top 24 performers, who will compete for a shot at moving on to the live shows. During the Playoffs, each coach gets to keep three of their team members to add to the roster of the top 12. Then, the top 12 performers will enter the final phase of the competition, which is the Live Shows. So, there’s still a good amount of time before the live shows hit NBC. Currently, the schedule of programming is Monday and Tuesday nights. On Mondays, the show airs from 8 – 10 p.m. ET/PT and on Tuesdays, episodes are one-hour long, from 8 – 9 p.m. ET/PT. Nights 1 and 2 of The Playoffs are set to air November 13th and 14th, 2017.

So, which contestants have made it into the Knockout Rounds? On Team Adam Levine, the contestants are Addison Age, Anthony Alexander, Dennis Drummond, Dylan Gerard, Emily Luther, Jon Mero, Hannah Mrozak and Adam Pearce. Blake Shelton’s team is comprised of Adam Cunningham, Anna Catherine DeHart, Kathrina Feigh, Mitchell Lee, Red Marlow, Keisha Renee, Megan Rose and Esera Tuaolo. For Miley Cyrus’ team, the contestants include Ashland Craft, Whitney Fenimore, Moriah Formica, Janice Freeman, Chloe Kohanski, Stephan Marcellus, Brooke Simpson and Karli Webster. And, lastly is Jennifer Hudson’s team. The new coach’s team members are Davon Fleming, Lucas Holliday, Shi’Ann Jones, Eric Lyn, Noah Mac, Jeremiah Miller, Katrina Rose and Chris Weaver.

Currently, only the coaches have a say in the fates of the artists on the show, as it is solely during the live shows that viewers are able to cast their votes for their favorite performers.
