When Jax Taylor dated Stassi Schroeder on Vanderpump Rules, his cheating ways were thrown into the spotlight. And, he appeared to have a wandering eye no matter what relationship he was in at the time. A couple years ago, he began dating a Kentucky native named Brittany Cartwright, who moved to Los Angeles to be with Taylor. Though Taylor seemed to have many of the same habits, he did appear to change a bit. This season, however, Taylor is slapped with rumors of infidelity as soon as season 6 kicks off. Taylor is rumored to have cheated on Cartwright with a former cast member named Faith Stowers. But, is this true? In an interview with Us Weekly, Tom Sandoval revealed that, “I actually heard about it and I didn’t know what to think about it. It seemed pretty far-fetch. It’s something that you’ll definitely get to the bottom of pretty quickly in the season.” Ariana Madix also told Us Weekly, “It’s one of those things. Jax, with Brittany, he’s seemed kind of like this different person, so to hear that rumor, it’s like, “Is it far-fetched? But it is.” It’s weird. In the past I would have said, “Oh yeah, for sure.” Because that sounds just like Jax. But now, it doesn’t seem like that. Also, Faith was somebody I considered to be a friend. So that’s also really weird and shocking and upsetting.”
Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval said they each believe that Jax Taylor is capable of monogamy. In addition, recently Taylor posted a photo of himself with Cartwright, so it looks like the couple has powered through the cheating rumors and are still together. As for what Taylor’s ex-girlfriend Schroeder has to say, she told People that she doesn’t know if Taylor can be monogamous.
On the season 6 premiere episode of Vanderpump Rules, Taylor is confronted about the cheating rumors at a masquerade party for Scheana Marie’s birthday. Faith Stowers is also in attendance, according to photos posted by NBC. Cast member Kristen Doute gets in the middle of the allegations and Taylor’s girlfriend Brittany Cartwright ends up in tears.
When Stowers first appeared on Vanderpump Rules a couple seasons ago, she was shown as a good friend of cast member Lala Kent. She also seemed to be quite friendly with Lisa Vanderpump’s son Max Todd. Stowers in an Army veteran and has worked at SUR, just like the other cast members on the show. She has been friends with other members of the VPR crew, including cast members Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix. Currently, Stowers works as a TV personality and host.
Over the summer, Taylor and Cartwright starred on their own reality spin-off series and the couple’s relationship appeared to be up in the air by the end of it. Clearly, the two have patched things up, but on the show, Taylor felt pressured by Cartwright’s family to propose. In addition the couple battled through several major fights. Taylor even butted heads with some of her friends and family members.
