The two biggest video game companies took the stage at E3 2013 and gave gamers official news about their console’s price and release dates. The battle has begun for next-gen gaming supremacy. Here’s the five fast facts you need to know about the Xbox One’s price and the PS4’s price.


1. The Xbox One Costs $499

Microsoft finally gave the world an official update on how much the Xbox One is going to cost gamers – $499. The console’s Amazon pre-order page states that “This item will be released on November 30, 2013.” Here’s a few of the official details that the online retailer listed for the Xbox One:

2. A Day One Edition Is Now Up for Pre-Order

Early adopters of the console who pre-order the Xbox One will get a chance to pick up the Day One Edition. This version of the console comes with these special incentives:

- The Day One console includes a commemorative controller, token code to unlock an exclusive Day One achievement, and premium packaging at no additional cost

The Day One Edition is being sold with in limited quantities, so you gamers might want to pre-order your’s now.


3. The PS4 Goes for $100 Less – $400

PS4 Price
Sony made plenty of gamers happy when they went to E3 and announced that the PS4 costs a $100 less than its rival system – $400. This console is being listed as releasing on “December 31, 2013.” Here’s some of the console’s official features:

– Broadcast while you play in real-time through Ustream, allowing friends to comment or jump into your game in new ways.

4. A Standard Edition and a Launch Edition Is Available for Pre-Order’s

For the PS4 pre-order’s, a standard edition and a launch edition are both up for sale on Amazon. Both editions will be similar to each other, so don’t worry if you’re unable to get the Launch Edition.

    of promotions on Facebook and use links to drive the viewers to contests, special
    deals, etc. Unfortunately, it’s also introduced a host of ways to violate intellectual property laws.

    The “following” and “followers” selection operates in the same fashion as Google+
    and Twitter.
