EA UFC is being prepared as the ultimate MMA video game for fans of the UFC and its superstar fighters. Speaking of superstar fighters, two of UFC’s Bantamweight female combatants are joining the game offical roster – UFC Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey and her rival Miesha Tate. Both players will be playable in EA’s upcoming cage fighter.
This announcement is awesome because it marks the first time that female fighters are playable in a UFC game. Note – you can’t choose the female fighters and face off with the male fighters, guys.
EA UFC will launch in Spring 2014 for the Xbox One and the PS4. The development team behind Fight Night, EA Canada, will be working on the game. The game’s engine will be powered by EA Sports’ next-gen Ignite Engine.

This groundbreaking moment is headlined by UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and top bantamweight contender Miesha Tate, the historic inaugural female coaches on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter.
Starting next Spring, players will “Feel the Fight” in the Octagon™ and experience the crippling power of Rousey’s signature armbar, the ferocious intensity of Tate’s grappling, and many other fighting styles from an esteemed roster of female fighters in EA SPORTS UFC.
