Giant Boulder of Death: Top 10 Tips & Cheats You Need to Know

6. Cheat Your Way to Extra Spin Boosts

Giant Boulder of Death Tips

News.MMOSite.com noted that a special mobile phone time trick could get you some more spin boosts:

After you unlock the spin boosts, you can only get them for free once every ten minutes; every other time, you have to pay two gems in order to spin. If you want to get them for free before the 10 minutes is up, set your phone ahead by however much time is left, and then go back to Giant Boulder of Death and you’ll be able to spin for free again.

7. Avoid Those Homing Mines and Ditches

News.MMOSite.com also posted up some tips on the best way to avoid homing mines and ditches:

Homing mines are a pain, but no matter the position, you can avoid them by jumping rapidly until they are gone. You can avoid almost any ditch as well, since your boulder can jump whether it’s actually on solid ground or not. Using the jump technique eliminates 2/3 of the worst obstacles in Giant Boulder of Death – only the spikes are still a danger, and even then, you can jump over them. Jump upgrades make it easier to do.

8. Score More Points By Knocking Down A Group of Objects

Giant Boulder of Death Tips Tricks

While you’re bowling over everything in your path, you’ll sometimes spot a large grouping of random objects (groups of people, small blue homes etc.). Whenever you see this instance rear its pretty head, take ’em down! You’ll get a sweet collection of bonus points just for bowling these small clusters over.

9. Take Down Those Buildings

Modojo.com posted up a few tips on taking down those huge buildings:

Even if your boulder isn’t strong enough, you should never pass up the opportunity to run into buildings. You’ll earn several points in the process, and still get credit for certain challenges that lie ahead. On a side note, try to jump before running into a building. You’ll score extra damage and more points.

10. Steer Clear of Holes!

Modojo.com also spoke about steering clear of those annoying holes:

Watch out for holes! Most of the objects that can end your boulder’s run are noticeable from a distance, but large holes have a way of sneaking up on you, covered by a ridge or a building. When you get past 2,000 meters, stick to whatever high ground you can find. You’ll get a better lay of the land, with enough timing to clear whatever gaps get in the way.
