Spike TV is known for showing the video games industry’s most popular awards show – the Video Game Awards. Some gamers pay attention to the yearly spectacle just so they can get a look at all the exclusive trailers. Other gamers tune in to see which game brought home the bacon during the award presentations.

Spike TV has renamed the awards show to VGX. This year, the show will be broadcasted through a livestream on several media platforms (Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, Twitch, iOS/Android devices, VGXLIVE.com, Hulu, Yahoo Screen, the Yahoo Screen app, pike.com, ComedyCentral.com MTV.com, MTV2.com, BET.com and GameTrailers.com). Oh and Heavy.com will air it too, so stay tuned!

This three hour showcase will air on Saturday, December 7, beginning at 6:00 PM ET/3:00 PM PT. The official list of all the nominations for all the awards categories have been officially released. Check out the entire list below.
