The 1st Resident Evil Revelations was a welcome return to form for the series. The elements of survival horror and creepy crawlies around every corner made old school fans rejoice. A sequel is on the way and it includes a familiar face.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 features two playable characters – Clair Redfield and Moira Burton, the daughter of Barry Burton. This new title will be split up into four main chapters that will be released as individual episodes every week upon launching.
Here’s Capcom’s description of the 1st episode:
The party is crashed, Claire and Moira are knocked unconscious and taken to a mysterious detention center located on an island. They soon encounter demented, writhing enemies called Afflicted roaming the halls of this abandoned facility, and have to team up to survive. The real question is, who brought them here? And… why?
You can look forward to experiencing the new horror of Resident Evil Revelations 2 in 2015 for the Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC gaming platforms. Each episode will self for $6, while the “Complete Season” will get you all four episodes plus additional DLC content for $25. A disc-based version of the game will each episode and the DLC content will arrive later for $40.
