Another day, another badass Mortal Kombat X trailer to wet our appetites. Today’s trailer showcases the Shaolin Clan of the Mortal Kombat franchise, including Kung Lao, Liu Kang and series newcomer Kung Jin.
I’m actually quite excited to pick up Kung Jin and play with him. He appears to play similarly to Green Arrow from Injustice: Gods Among Us, using arrows, a bow and quick, brutal attacks to take down his foes.
The trailer also shows a zombie-looking Liu Kang and a maskless Sub Zero. Clearly, this isn’t our Sega Genesis Mortal Kombat, and it is definitely one of my most anticipated games of 2015.
The Mortal Kombat X release date is set for April 14, 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC via STEAM. Stay tuned to Heavy’s Gaming Section for our review and more on Mortal Kombat X.
