mighty no 9 release date

We finally have a Mighty No. 9 release date, as the Mega Man successor has been scheduled for September 15 in North America and September 18 in Europe.

There will be both retail and digital releases for Mighty No. 9 for PS4, Xbox One and Wii U, while PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac and Linux will receive digital copies only. The game is also set to arrive on PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS, although those release dates have not been revealed just yet.

Developer comcept has also announced that there will be Mighty No. 9 DLC titled “Ray” DLC, which will feature an all-new fight with the protagonist Beck’s rival, the completion of which unlocks Ray to be used in the main game, including all of his unique skills. All Kickstarter backers of the project will receive the DLC for free, as well as any retail version (seemingly an incentive to combat piracy).

The Mighty No. 9 gameplay we’ve seen from the Kickstarter project so far looks to be a hell of a lot of fun, and we can’t wait to see more leading up to the game’s September release. As it stands right now, the only other games scheduled for September are Mad Max and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
