Here are the top five tips/tricks/cheats you need to know for Rayman Adventures.
1. The Basics of Movement
• Rayman Adventures doesn’t control like your average platform runner. Unlike most mobile infinite runners, you actually have the ability to change the direction of where your character is running. So if you ever miss any collectible Lums, remember to swipe in the opposite direction of where your character is heading and attempt to pick em up. In order to find any of trapped Teensies, you’ll have to fully explore each stage by moving in both directions. Tapping the screen makes your character automatically run, jump and wall jump. For Rayman, jump and then hold your finger on the screen to activate his hover ability. Swiping forward lets you attack enemies (you can also vanquish baddies by hopping on top of their heads). Pulling off attacks also allows you to switch the direction of platforms that open up new platforms for you. Swiping down while you’re airborne lets you pull off a downward smash attack. You should also do this to jump higher when you land smash attacks on bouncy pigs.
2. Use Your Creatures AKA Incrediballs Wisely
• There’s three types of Incrediballs you can collect – Seekers, Protectors and Inhalers. Protectors shield you from attacks by giving you a quick assist attack, Seekers can locate hidden items you need to collect and Inhalers suck up any nearby Lums and other items. Protectors are perfect for those Brawler-themed stages, while your Seekers and Inhalers will benefit you the most when you hop into more exploration or Lums collecting-based levels. When you check out your collected creatures on their home tree base, click on their name to see which stages you can find them on. If any of your monsters look like weak lil’ puffballs, feed em ASAP! You’ll be doing a lot of monster collecting since there’s 110 of them to collect.
3. GO GET THOSE GEMS!
• Gems stand out as one of the more important in-game currencies in the game. Gems go towards your purchase of new costumes and lucky tickets. Scratching off those lucky tickets will award you with all types of random goodies, such as more Incrediball eggs, Gems and Elixirs. You’ll be gifted with five new Gems just by watching an in-game video advertisement, plus you can walk away with five extra Gems thanks to the game’s “Daily Reward” system. Do your best to collect everything during a stage run so you get the max amount of Gems a current level awards you with.
4. Complete Those Achievements!
• You should always make sure to check in with all the in-game achievements the game tasks you with completing. In order to unlock more Gems and food, you’ll have to clear off the achievements that you’ve already cleared. Some of the easier ones involve scratching off five tickets, hatching 10 eggs and using one elixir. The tougher ones push you to complete 200 separate adventures, collecting 2000 Lums using Inhalers and collecting 5000 Lums on your own.
5. Rescuing and Incubating Eggs Are Priority Activities
