Pokemon Go trainers around the world have been gathering as much data as they can in hopes of figuring out exactly how the game works, and now some new information has come out suggesting there is a specific time of day when you’ll encounter more Pokemon than usual.

According to Pokemon Go Hub, an analysis of over 500,000 Pokemon encounters found that while these are distributed relatively evenly throughout the day, there seem to be times when there is a higher rate of encounters. Specifically, the most number of spawns happen at about 9:00 p.m local time. The lowest number of spawns happen at 12:00 a.m. local time.

Getting even more specific, they concluded that Pokemon spawn more often in the last two minutes of the hour. Weirdly, the data shows that there is a significant drop in encounters during other times, such as in the 40th and 41st minute of an hour.

Based on the data, there really isn’t a time of day when you will barely encounter any Pokemon. But there certainly are times you can zero in on to go Pokemon hunting, in particular focusing on that piece of info about Pokemon appearing towards the end of an hour.

To see the charts breaking down the spawn rate minute-by-minute, head on over to Pokemon Go Hub. They also put together an hour-by-hour breakdown of when to catch every single Pokemon. Here, for instance, is the graph for Eevee, which shows that the most of its encounters occur at 9:00 p.m.:

If you’re looking for some more data on this front, another website, Pokemon Go Champ, recently put out their own analysis of this topic, breaking down the times at which it seems every species most often spawns. Here’s their list.
