Where and How to Watch the ‘Overwatch’ Open Grand Finals

Overwatch, Genji

(Blizzard)

Overwatch’s first live televised event is almost upon us courtesy of ELEAGUE, FACEIT, and TBS. Known as the Overwatch Open, this tournament has seen some of the best teams around the world compete to prove once and for all who’s best. Over the next two days, the remaining teams will battle it out for a spot in finals and then hopefully a chance to be one of two groups moving on to the Grand Finals held live in Atlanta.

eSport Team EnVyUs will represent the North American side of the tournament after dominating over team Fnatic with a 3-1 game. At the time of writing this, their European opponents have yet to be chosen as those matches will continue over the next few days leading up to the September 30. Looking at the roster there are several strong contenders, but we are guessing either Luminosity Gaming, REUNITED, or Anox will be moving on.

However, don’t discredit the underdog team Ninjas in Pajamas, as their triple tank combo has been absolutely dominating every team they come up against. If you are looking to watch the Overwatch Open Grand Finals they will be broadcasted live on September 30 at 10 pm Eastern Time. If you can’t watch TBS, you will also be able to watch the entire thing live on various other providers such as Twitch. Sadly, tickets are completely sold out so you will have to wait for the next ELEAGUE/FACEIT tournament if you wanted to attend.

Here’s how to watch the Overwatch Open Grand Finals:

South East Asia

Brazil

China

Russia

Africa

United Kingdom

France

Thailand

United States

If you are looking to watch this event live on TBS you will need a cable log-in password to view the event.

For Twitch, it’s completely free though their may be some lag between the actual stream and the event showing live on television. It’s also simulcast, which means you will have lots of dead space where the commercials on TV would be. However, if you want to actually talk with the thousands of fans watching it will require a login, but this is incredibly easy to do and won’t take you away from the action.

Make sure to stick with us through the entire event as we will be covering the matches live along with profile of both qualified teams.
