An official announcement regarding EA’s second Star Wars Battlefront game is coming April 15 but a leaked trailer may have shown their hand.
EA recently promised the next game will span across multiple Star Wars eras but many didn’t think the prequels were a possibility. The prequel trilogy have been largely avoided in video games since the Disney acquisition. There are hardly any books in the new canon set during the prequel timeline too. All of that could possibly be changing if this leaked trailer is anything to go by.
Viewers are treated to Darth Maul and Yoda, which would pretty much confirm the addition of the Clone Wars content which would be great for fans of that era. The video may be taken down so watch it while you can. Let’s just hope the content isn’t locked behind a season pass. Darth Maul has me pretty excited for the game.
