A new Pokemon Go event has just been announced.
Starting on the afternoon of Friday, May 5th and ending on Sunday, May 8th, grass spawns will be increased in the game.
“Professor Willow’s research into Pokémon habitats around the world has uncovered some interesting findings,” Niantic said in an announcement this morning. “His initial reports indicate that we’ll see an influx of Grass-type Pokémon sometime this weekend.”
In addition, lure modules will last for six hours during this entire event.
The following are grass Pokemon who will presumably be spawning at a higher frequency during this event:

- Bulbasaur
- Chikorita
- Exeggcute
- Exeggutor
- Gloom
- Hoppip
- Ivysaur
- Jumpluff
- Meganium

- Skiploom
