‘Friday The 13th: The Game’ Double XP Event Start Date

Friday-the-13th-The-Game

Friday The 13th: The Game is a multiplayer title that tasks players with either surviving a night as a camp counselor or killing trespassers as the iconic slasher Jason Voorhees. As users play through the game they will earn experience for various tasks such as barricading doors, hurting Jason, or even just repairing various objects in the world. However, unless you actually get to play Jason or actually escape as a counselor, you will not earn a ton of XP. This can make grinding a bit of a tedious affair, especially since various Jasons are locked at higher levels, making them difficult to achieve.

Thankfully, developer Gun Media have decided to introduce a Double XP weekend event for those on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. While there is a ton of free content coming to Friday The 13th: The Game on June 20, the actual Double XP event won’t start until a few days later. The official Friday The 13th: The Game Double XP Event will begin on June 23, however, no launch time has been listed yet. This event will also end on June 25, so make sure to earn as much experience as possible during this time frame.

Given that most content updates on Xbox One and PS4 sometime in the early afternoon, it’s plausible to expect this is the same for Friday The 13th: The Game since many of their patches have rolled out around the same time. However, if you are looking to nab the Retro Jason Skin that will drop tomorrow along with 13,000 credits and a bunch of extra outfits for your terrified survivors.

While Friday The 13th: The Game has had a large number of its biggest bugs and server issues fixed, there are still some glitches and exploits players are using. Many of these make it impossible for Jason to kill them, which can be especially frustrating for those having to wait 20 minutes for the round to end.

We will update this post if an update time is released to players.
