You can also pre-order the game through Amazon.

Ubisoft is also selling figures of the four Rabbids dressed as Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi. Figures are available in three or six inch sizes. According to Nintendo Everything, shipping will begin in September.

The game has Mario and friends along with Rabbids dressed as Mario characters wielding laser guns in turn-based, tactical battles. Players explore a 3D environment, collecting coins, solving puzzles, and interacting with other characters and objects. Battle has you moving around the field using cover, similar to XCOM. Characters can combine their abilities to help each other. You can also use the environment to your advantage, going through pipes to flank opponents. There are also new weapons to collect as well as skill trees to upgrade.

The game was officially revealed at Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press conference with Nintendo Luminary Shigeru Miyamoto himself making a grand appearance. However, its existence was leaked much earlier than that. The game was first reported by French website GameBlog in October of 2016, calling it “a Yoshi/Rabbid Rabbits crossover.” Video Game Critic Laura Kate Dale also shared information about the game back in January of this year with Kotaku confirming its existence in May. The key art for the game was eventually leaked as well as slides supposedly from a presentation about the game.
