So imagine everyone’s surprise when a new Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite trailer hit the screen during Sony’s E3 2017 games showcase.
Thanks to the leaked roster list that got passed around a few weeks back, fans already had a good idea of who would pop up. A couple of returning characters from Marvel vs. Capcom 3 could be seen interacting with all the newest roster additions in some new Story Mode footage. Dante, Arthur, Dr. Strange, Zero, Nova, Black Panther, Gamora, Thanos and Spencer are the newest names confirmed to be featured in the game. So now it’s looking like that leaked launch roster description is actually legit. This 3-minute long trailer details the struggle the heroes will have against Ultron Sigma and their uneasy partnership with Gamora’s father, Thanos.
In another bit of exciting news, a special Story Mode demo for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will become available for PS4 and Xbox One tomorrow (Tuesday, June 13).
Now we have a better idea of who’s on the Marvel side, the Capcom side and who’s left to be confirmed from the leaked roster list (fingers crossed for Jedah!):
