Diablo 3 Season 11 Begins Today: What Time?

Diablo 3

If you’re reading this right now, that means Season 11 is now live.

The wait is over and Diablo 3’s long awaited Season 11 is here. For some, seasonal play may have grown stale but that should be different this time around since the game is introducing a new class into the mix.

Although today is the start of the new season, it actually doesn’t unlock until much later in the day. Sorry everyone, you’ll have to wait around and play your non-seasonal characters in the meantime.

Diablo 3’s Season 11 will begin today at 5 p.m. PDT in North America, 5 p.m. CEST in Europe and 5 p.m. KST in Asia. Blizzard says the reason for beginning the season on a Thursday is to give the team time to respond to potential issues before the weekend begins. We expect this to be a busier season than usual, especially with the new class.

With this being the first season featuring the Necromancer class, you can expect to see a lot of players using the new class. There’s nothing wrong with that but you could end up grouping up with a group of players and having them all as Necromancers. Since a lot of the Necromancer skills rely on the use of corpses, having four of the same class can become detrimental to players trying to push into the high Greater Rifts.

With that said, I’m still going to be the Necromancer with this season since I want to try something new. If you’re having trouble choosing what class to be, you can take our advice and try something that isn’t corpse-related. If you are going for a certain build or look, it’s probably worth checking out the different Legendary sets you will get for each class this season.

This season also gives players some new zones to play in. Patch 2.6.0, whether you bought the Necromancer pack or not, added The Shrouded Moors and Temple of the Fistborn. It’s not a lot but it’s something new to go and see while you’re completing bounties and exploring Adventure Mode.
