To buy an item, go to the store in question by either walking there or pressing X to bring up a list of the various locations. Players can then spend gold to purchase whatever clothing they like, along with viewing the various abilities that come with this item. To get a more in-depth look at the passive skills given to your Inkling just press ZL when you are highlighted over a specific item. Try to have your various skills synergize with your weapon and playstyle to ensure maximum impact.

After you pick your outfit, you can either equip it directly after purchasing it or by opening up your menu and selecting the item. Remember, the stores frequently reset their inventory so if you are hesitant on buying an item simply hold off. The last thing you want to do is waste all your money and an item you’ll never wear.
