Pokemon Sun and Moon players will be able to pick up a free Salazzle at participating GameStops on August 14. This just happens to be one of many events Pokemon Sun and Moon have going on this month as well.
To pick up Salazzle players will have to stop by GameStop to pick up a code and then follow these steps to unlock the new Pokemon:
- Select Mystery Gift on the main menu
- Select Receive Gift
- Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, and then Yes again to connect to the Internet.
- Enter your password
- Watch as you receive the Salazzle.
- Speak to the deliveryman in any Pokemon Center to pick up your Salazzle.
- Be sure to save your game.
Salazzle will be gifted to players at level 50 and will be holding the Focus Sash. The moves Salazzle will know are Fake Out, Toxic, Sludge Bomb and Flamethrower. This event begins August 14 and ends September 4.
There’s still time to pick up the rare legendary Pokemon Tapu Koko through the Mystery Gift as well. That event runs until August 14, which happens to be the start date of this event, so you’ll need to hurry if you have plans on picking up this Pokemon. Nintendo hasn’t given an end date for this Mega Stone event so you don’t have to worry about picking up these stones right away.
If you’re reading this right now, that means there are also four new Mega Stones players will also be able to pick up. These stones will be delivered through the Mystery Gift too, as they have been in the past. You can read more about those stones here.
In other Pokemon news, Nintendo and Game Freak recently gave us a glimpse at one of the new Pokemon being added into Ultra Sun and Moon. The new Pokemon is Dusk Form Lycanroc which is a new form of Lycanroc found in the original Sun and Moon games.
