Tales of the Rays: Top 10 Tips & Cheats You Need to Know

6. The Best Passive Types for Weapons: Part 1

• There are certain Passive attributes applied to the weapons you collect over time. HelpMeWithGames.com made sure to list all of ’em, which you can refer to here and with the following tip below:

– Dash Arte weapons: Very useful to avoid any attacks from enemies. Really simple but very effective!

– Heal Arte weapons (especially AoE): Early game, it’s not that useful, but as and when monsters will be stronger, it will for sure be super useful!

– Iron Stance breaking passive weapons: It is pretty annoying when enemies still can attack when you focus them. If you have an Iron Stance breaking passive, you will be able to break down that faster!

7. The Best Passive Types for Weapons: Part 2

• And here’s the last three Passive attributes that are tied to certain weapon types:

– Multi-hit Arte weapons: With an Iron Stance passive, you will be able to destroy enemies’ Iron Stance with only a few hit. Even without that passive, a full combo will probably destroy ennemies’ Iron Stance.

– Healing passive weapon: You might not heal a lot, but you let enough time for your healers to heal you! Especially OP with a Dash Arte weapon.

– Shot Arte: If you are in a bad situation (basically if all you allies died, and you are alone against the boss), shot Arte can be pretty useful!

8. Check Out Those Daily Dungeons and Collect Certain Rewards

• Besides special events that you can complete in order to get extra rare weapons and new characters, you can also throw yourself into special dungeons. These dungeons change up their Anima Sync type based on what day you’re playing the game. HelpMeWithGames.com also broke down each daily dungeon type and the type of Chiral Crystals and Anima Orbs you’ll gain from them:

– Monday (Green Anima Sync): Chiral Crystal Slash / Anima Orb Bash
– Tuesday (Blue Anima Sync): Chiral Crystal Shot / Anima Orb Spell
– Wednesday (Yellow Anima Sync): Chiral Crystal Spell / Anima Orb Shot
– Thursday (Green Anima Sync): Chiral Crystal Bash / Anima Orb Slash
– Friday (Violet Anima Sync): Chiral Crystal Random / Anima Orb Random
– Saturday (Brown Anima Sync): Chiral Crystal Random / Anima Orb Random
– Sunday (All Type Anima Sync): Chiral Crystal Random / Anima Orb Random

9. Always Make Sure you Enhance Your Weapons With the Same Material Type

• You’ll get the chance to upgrade your weaponry with certain material types. Those materials happen to be small or medium Chiral Crystals and these are the types you’ll come across – Slash, Spell, Bash, Shot and Super. Always make sure you upgrade your weapon by matching it up with the same Chiral Crystal type. You can tell which weapon type you’re currently trying to upgrade by looking at the icon near the top left of that weapon. You’ll get extra upgrade points that way.

10. 1x Summons are Actually Worth it…the First Time Only, Though

Tales of the Rays

• When you click on the Summon tab as an early adopter of the game, the price of Mirrogems you’ll need to pay for a 1x Summon will be cut in half. Hop on all the 1x Summon sales on each banner. Take advantage of that sale ASAP cause you never know which star rarity type weapon or mirrage you’ll acquire for your characters. Honestly though, it’s best to do nothing but 10x Summons after your first 1x Summon purchase. 10x Summons may cost more, but you’re guaranteed a 4-star rarity type weapon/mirrage and bonus prism currency for your costume purchases.
