Chef Wars New Recipes

Autumn. A season of warm colors like cider brown, marigold orange, and honey yellow. It’s also a season of Pumpkin Pie, Apple Cider, Yoga Pants, Halloween, and Pumpkin Spice. If you had to describe the season in one word, ‘cozy’ would be appropriate.

If you had to describe the smash-hit Culinary-RPG Chef Wars in one word, it’d be Adoracoreable. Which is a word I just made up to describe a game that is equal parts adorable and hardcore. With over 900 recipes, an entire *globe* to explore, and an art-style that deserves every award you can throw at it, Chef Wars’ aesthetic disguises its massive nature.

And it’s about to get bigger. Launching at some point in the next 7-10 days, the newest Chef Wars Update is autumn themed, and coming with all the fixins’.

What’s new?

10 New Recipes including Pumpkin Pie, Roast Turkey, Caramel Apples, and more!

Autumn competitions
centering around pumpkin, squash, turkey, and other seasonally appropriate dishes and ingredients.

Daily Login Rewards that will give you new ingredients, cash, or gems every day you boot up the app.

There will also be bug fixes, and corrections to hiccups that causes the game to crash for some players. Plus A New Title Screen (which is above) featuring the most excitable hamster in gaming history.

According to the developers, his name is Cheswick.

Depending on the kind of gamer you are, the news of this update is either delightful or terrifying. Delightful in the sense Chef Wars will be updating itself thematically, with new recipes, art, and content throughout its life-span, making it a ‘living’ game.

Terrifying in the sense that it may be literally impossible to discover everything – it’s already a massive game. That’s a good kind of terrifying though, depending on who you ask. Which is fitting, considering Halloween is around the corner.

That said, the update is expected to release at some point in the next week, hopefully in time for Halloween.
