Pokemon GO: When Does the 2017 Halloween Event End?

Pokemon GO Halloween

It’s nearly Halloween and that means another spooky, ghost-filled Pokemon GO event is coming. Officially announced this morning, Pokemon GO’s second Halloween event is not only aiming to give trainers some extra rewards but introduce some new creatures for you to capture. This reveal doesn’t come as a huge surprise since developer Niantic produced a similar event for players laster year.

If you are looking to start hunting Ghost-type Pokemon right away then you won’t have to wait too long. The 2017 Pokemon GO Halloween event starts on October 20 at 12:00 p.m. PDT / 3:00 p.m. EDT.  One of the major draws to this event is certainly the five new Pokemon that will be added into the game. This marks the first time that any Pokemon from Gen 3 has arrived, so make sure to get out there and search for them.

The Pokemon in question are Sableye, Shuppet, Banette, Duskull, and Dusclops all of which made their debut in Pokemon Sapphire and Pokemon Ruby. Users will also have the opportunity to obtain double their Candy rewards. Any time you hatch, catch, or transfer a pocket monster in Pokemon GO you will receive extra candy. Additionally, your Buddy Pokemon will find additional Candy when you are out roaming the wilds.

There will also new boxes that can be purchased in the in-game shop that contains a variety of different items like Super Incubators and Raid Passes. Players can also capture special witch hat variants of Pokemon like Pikachu and Raichu. We highly recommend participating in this year’s event since the increase in Candy is well worth your time. Make sure to transfer any Pokemon you capture during this period to ensure that you receive the maximum amount of resources possible.

The Pokemon GO Halloween event is scheduled to end on November 2 at 1:00 p.m. PDT / 4:00 p.m. EDT.
