Star Wars Battlefront 2: How to Unlock Every Multiplayer Hero

One of the biggest draws to playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 is the ability to step into the shoes of the series’ iconic heroes and villains. Spanning across the entire film franchises history, players are able to take the reigns of characters from the prequel, original, and new trilogy. However, in order to play these characters you will need to earn Battle Point (BP). There are two types of Heroes, with one set available on the land and the other only used for the Starfighter Assault mode.

Some of the heroes in the game will be unlocked from the start, but others will cost the in-game currently “Credits” to obtain. Given the controversy surrounding this feature, it’s possible that the ones that are lock will become available. Here is how to unlock every hero in Star Wars: Battlefront 2.

The only way to obtain these character is by unlocking them via spending credits. Thankfully, there are a number of ways that you can accomplish this, as credits can be earned a number of different ways. One of the easiest to earn a large sum is simply completing the campaign, which will reward users with 5,000 credits. This is a good way, especially if you want Iden, to earn a hero right at the end of the single player.

However, the main way that players will obtain credits is by playing online against other players. While there are a lot of different game modes we recommend picking Galatic Assault since these typically have a higher yield of credits (around 300-400 a game). Since your post-match rewards are based on performance make sure to always play the objective to ensure that you rise on the leaderboards.

The other main method is by completing the various Challenges you can find in the Career section. These revolve around completing specific requirements and will often end with credits being rewarded to the player. They can range anywhere from 100 to 1,000 credits per Challenge. Out of everything in Star Wars Battlefront 2, Challenges are the fastest and most consistent way of obtaining credits quickly – especially early on.

Every hero you lock will also have multiple Star Cards that are personal to that specific character.  These will give you various buffs to improve that heroes’ performance in-game. Make sure to always have these equipped, especially for the ones that you frequently use.
