On the Caveman Diet? A List of Paleo-Approved Foods For You

Paleo food list infographic

There is no single list of Paleo-approved foods and it’s hard to be comprehensive, so I’ve listed some of the most common Paleo foods that you’d buy weekly at your grocery store. For a healthy diet, as always, you’ll want to shop the perimeter of the store. There will be very few Paleo-approved groceries you will buy that have a nutrition label. This Paleo infographic from CrossFit Geelong is excellent because it breaks down the basics of the diet but also gives healthy lifestyle tips like sleep recommendations and the permission to live a little and enjoy your favorite treats once in awhile.

In general, if you’re following the Paleo diet, you’ll eat meat (grass-fed), fish and seafood, eggs, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, nuts, seeds, and healthy oils.

You will not be eating bread or rice, dairy products, refined sugar, legumes like peanuts, and processed foods.
