“During my first pregnancy I gained more than half my regular weight due to cravings for sugary and fatty food which I simply wasn’t able to control. Yes, my body was retaining a lot of water too.

But even after my son was born and the excess fluids were gone, I was still looking at a solid 46 pounds to lose, which I knew would be impossible unless I stopped longing for junk food. Luckily, I’m a specialized nutritionist, and I came up with a recipe that did not only effectively melt my pounds, it also helped me to thoroughly detox my body and significantly increase my energy levels.”


Chia Green Smoothie with Apple and Coconut Water

Ingredients:

1 green apple
1 celery stick
1/ 2 cup coconut water
1.5 Tbsp. chia seeds
Apple cider vinegar to taste

Directions:

Juice the apple and celery stick, pour into a glass.
Add coconut water, chia seeds and wait for about 15 minutes.
Add apple cider vinegar to taste, stir well and drink immediately.

I regularly had this drink three times a day:
First thing in the morning, about 30 minutes before lunch (when I used to eat my “biggest” meal of the day), and a third time in the afternoon.
Within a week my cravings started to disappear, I felt satiated for a longer time, ate less, my energy levels sky-rocketed so that I naturally moved more, and after five months I was back to my original weight!
