Apple Cider Vinegar Weight Loss Tonic

apple cider vinegar weight loss

Apple cider vinegar has been around for a long time as a condiment, seasoning, folk remedy, and cold cure. I put some in my homemade cold remedy which tastes horrible but works better than anything I’ve found over-the counter (tea made from real ginger, cayenne pepper, apple cider vinegar, turmeric, honey).

But recently it’s become popular for its diet and beauty benefits. Some people say it does wonders for their hair and skin, and others use it as a diet aid.

There is some science behind the weight loss claims. In one study, drinking a small amount of apple cider vinegar every night lowered blood sugar.  Japanese research from 2009 also found a link between vinegar consumption and lower body weight and BMI.

  1. I love apple cider vinegar and since I eat for nutrients, this actually sounded great to me! Of course as a nutritionist, I would recommend this as a healthy drink rather than a “diet.” A diet is one you would stay on forever and I doubt I could drink this every day of my life, :). Thank you for posting this info though, blessings,

  2. naturally like your web-site but you need to test the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very troublesome to inform the truth however I will surely come back again.
