Jones meets Sonnen in April

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and nemesis Chael Sonnen are going to get to know each other a lot better.

The two will be featured as opposing coaches on the next season of “The Ultimate Fighter.”

The Los Angeles Times reported the news after speaking with Dana White Tuesday.

The third season on FX will begin in January and end with a finale event in April.

But Jones and Sonnen won’t just be cheering on their understudies that month. The two will meet in the main event of the UFC’s April 27 pay-per-view card.

Their feud has been well-documented thus far, and Sonnen even talked his way into a title fight against Jones at UFC 151 after Dan Henderson went down with an injury a week before the fight.

But Jones refused the fight, and the event was canceled.

From the moment Sonnen returned to light heavyweight, he began trash talking Jones, but “Bones” wanted nothing to do with him, clearly.

Somehow. Someway. Dana White has talked him into it.
