Josh Neer vs. Justin Edwards
Round 1 – Leg kick from Edwards. He swarms with a combination and shoots in for a takedown. They tie up, and Edwards tries to throw Neer. He can’t finish. Neer lifts him up for the takedown, but Edwards slides in a guillotine. Neer drops to his knees. He may be out. This is deep. The ref stops it. Neer is out cold.
Official Decision: Edwards def. Neer via technical submission (guillotine choke) at 0:45 of Round 1
John Dodson vs. Jussier Formiga
Round 1 – Dodson works a body shot early. Both guys are bouncing around like crazy. Nice left hand from Dodson. He misses with a combination. Dodson staying more active, while Formiga isn’t too eager to get involved in a striking match. Midpoint of the first round, and neither guy has really been able to get anything going. Dodson with a punch to the body. Formiga with a takedown attempt, but Dodson evades nicely. 90 seconds left. Dodson trying to get inside with punches. Formiga with a kick, and Dodson catches it and looks to trip. Nothing there. Heavy.com scores the round 10-9 for Dodson.
Round 2 – Round two gets off to the same pace as the first, but neither are landing. Both dancing around plenty though. Dodson misses with a combination. He is throwing way more combos, but Formiga is evading nicely. Dodson lands a big shot. Formiga drops. Dodson follows Formiga down, but can’t finish. Formiga back to his feet with 90 seconds to go. Nice body shot from Dodson. He misses badly on a left hook, but Formiga can’t capitalize. Dodson with a combination, finishing with a left hand. Formiga drops. Dodson follows. Formiga rolls and eats about a half-dozen more shots than he needed to. Great finish by Dodson.

Jake Ellenberger vs. Jay Hieron
Round 1 – Head kick misses for Hieron. He misses with a long left hook. Ellenberger very composed right now, not really looking to strike early. Leg kick from Hieron. Ellenberger misses with a combo. Big uppercut misses. Hieron moves in and eats a big combination. He dances backwards, dodging any further damage. Two minutes to go in the round. Spinning back kick misses for Hieron. Ellenberger almost gets taken down, but turns the tables. They scramble and both get back to the feet. Pace has slowed during the final minute of the round. Ellenberger misses on a long left. Round comes to a close. Heavy.com scores the round 10-9 for Ellenberger.
Round 2 – Ellenberger misses with a combination, and Hieron lands a nice counter that shoots his opponent’s head back. Nice kick to the body from Hieron. They exchange, each landing. Leg kick from Hieron, followed by a head kick and a combination. Hieron looks takedown, and Ellenberger throws a hard left hook to discourage his efforts. Hieron misses with a big left hook of his own. Ellenberger with a takedown attempt. He gets it. Midpoint of the round. Ellenberger works ground and pound. Hieron pushes off and gets to his feet. Leg kick lands for Hieron. He appears to be bleeding. One minute to go in the second frame. Ellenberger misses with a head kick. Hieron fires off a few kicks of his own. Round comes to a close. Heavy.com scores the round 10-9 for Ellenberger.
Round 3 – Hieron misses with a head kick. Nothing happening in the first minute of the final round. Kick below the belt, and Ellenberger is given time to recover. On restart, Hieron misses with a strong left hook. He is working kicks now. Ellenberger punches his way to a takedown, but Hieron hops back up and lands to get some separation. Ellenberger blocks a head kick. Leg kick lands for Ellenberger, and we’ve reached the midpoint of the round. Nice left for Ellenberger. Two minutes to go. Hieron with a leg kick and he defends Ellenberger’s takedown attempt, as well. Front kick comes up short for Hieron. More kicks from Hieron. Ellenberger with another takedown attempt, but Hieron again defends nicely. Time is running short, and Ellenberger turns it up. Hieron trips, but the bell rings. Travis Browne vs. Antonio Silva
Round 1 – No touch of gloves to begin the main event of the evening. Browne throws a punch and misses with a spinning back kick. He walks directly into a Silva strike. Browne dancing around, staying loose. He ducks under a strike from Silva. One minute down. Silva with a leg kick. Browne fakes a kick. Silva closes in and looks for the takedown, but Browne keeps his feet. At least for the moment. Foot stomps from Silva. They aren’t helping. Browne gets warned for grabbing the fence. He lands some knees, but Silva pulls away. Browne appears to have an injured knee. Silva falls down after a kick to the stomach.They trade, and Silva seems to have landed better. Silva rushes forward. He lands a big shot, and Browne crumbles to the ground. Several unanswered shots. This fight is over. Browne is walking around, but he clearly has an injured knee.
